  1. Note: we obtained the number of children born in 2014 in Spain from the Spanish National Statistical Institute data. In this table EBF refers to exclusive breastfeeding rates at hospital discharge . The prevalences of gastroenteritis necrotising enterocolitis (NE) among EBF children and AF children were 0.01 and 0.07, respectively. The unitary cost was €5990.05
